In 2016 and 2017, the Palm Oil Innovation Group worked with its members involved in processing and trading physical palm oil and palm oil products to develop a POIG Charter for Traders and Processors. The Charter was finalised and released in November 2017, signifying the opening up of a new official category of membership within POIG.
